What is the difference between the sheet music for a normal guitar and a bass guitar?

Although the normal guitar notation is in the bass registers, sheet music is always in the treble or G clef. Music for the bass guitar is probably in the bass or F clef.

Perhaps higher-pitched tenor guitars would use music notation written in the C clef. What is the difference between the sheet music for a normal guitar and a bass guitar?
If you're talking about sheet music with notes (note tabs), then the difference is the clef. Most guitar would be in the Treble clef. Bass guitar would be in the bass clef. Basic music theory that can be tough to learn, but once you can read and understand how the two clefs work, it'll better yourself as a musician.
