In Guitar Sheet Music what does it mean if a song is in a different Key?

The notes of the song are the same in relation to one another, but either the tuning or the position on the fretboard is different. In Guitar Sheet Music what does it mean if a song is in a different Key?
Oh jeez, how do I explain this... The notes or chords in relation to each other are the same, but it's in a higher or lower key so you play it on a different place on the fretboard. So if you played 3 notes on the E string on the 4th fret, it would be the same song if you played 3 notes on the E string on the 5th fret, it would just be in a different key.In Guitar Sheet Music what does it mean if a song is in a different Key?
It means that it will be higher or lower than the original key. If you are playing alone, it doesn't matter. If someone is singing with you, it is important to determine whether the new key is in their singing range. If it is, they should be able to adapt. If you are playing with another instrument that is reading music, either you need to be playing in the same key, or one of you needs to transpose or use a capo.
the note r diff. kinda hard 2 explain...

and yes the jonas brrothers DO SUCK!!!!
